Bill Benton cofounded Newmark’s San Francisco office in 2002. Bill is a vice chairman, specializing in tenant representation. He is experienced in all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, occupancy cost reduction strategies and multimarket transactions. He is tenacious in his pursuit of creating and implementing sound strategies that are constantly focused on cost containment and maintaining flexibility within a portfolio while achieving the cultural and image goals of his clients. This has made him one of San Francisco’s leading real estate professionals.
Prior to joining Newmark, Bill served as vice president with CB Richard Ellis (now CBRE), where he and his partner were among the firm’s top teams and were recognized as top producers both regionally and nationally. Mr. Benton’s aggregate transaction volume totals more than 8.0 million square feet and more than $5.0 billion in total consideration.
