Bio
William J. Vakos, Jr. (Mr. Vakos) formed W.J. Vakos & Company in 1976 after serving as a Marine Officer in the United States Marine Corps. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William & Mary and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) and J.D. (Law) degree from Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William & Mary. For more than 40 years, Mr. Vakos has been instrumental in developing many projects across Virginia and within the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania region, including Southpoint I and Southpoint II, Thornburg Towne Centre, Spotsylvania Courthouse Village and William Square. Mr. Vakos is active in the community and his church. Mr. Vakos and his wife are longtime residents of Spotsylvania County.
