Willie Morris serves as President of Southeast Single-Family Rental. Before his role at Mill Creek, Mr. Morris served as Director of Land Acquisition at Pulte Group, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, covering the Charlotte metro. He was responsible for deal sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, entitlements, and all other pre-development activities.
Before his role at Pulte, Mr. Morris served as Land Acquisition Manager for M/I Homes in the Charlotte metro. Previously, he was in the Land Services Group at Trinity Partners, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage and development firm based in the Carolinas. He assisted multifamily, single-family, retail, and mixed-use developers in site acquisitions. In addition, he assisted landowners with their land dispositions in the Charlotte and Raleigh markets. His previous experience also includes several years in real estate brokerage and development in the Charleston, SC, area for a boutique real estate firm.
