Since 1994 Winston has made real estate his career as a full time REALTOR is experienced in residential, investment, vacation home and commercial real estate sales. Winston has a strong financial background and personal investment experience. Proudly serving the Outers Community since 1998 with other 600 satisfied client transactions. Winston is a graduate of UNC-Charlotte and earned a BS in business administration concentration in small business management and finance. Winston has been involved in sales and consulting since graduating college. He began his real estate career as a commercial real estate agent in Charlotte, NC in 1994 for a boutique developer in the uptown Charlotte area, with past clients like Harris-Teeter and Sun Belt Rentals. With a natural draw to the residential real estate with both his family (mother) and his wife's family being broker owners (RE/MAX Raleigh,NC), he succumb to the inevitable. So, after a few years of success in commercial he transitioned to residential home sales.
As a Broker, REALTOR, developer and investor, Winston brings a thorough understanding of each aspect of the business and takes great pride in the personal attention, knowledge and guidance that he provides each of his clients.
In addition to his professional and busy personal life, Winston enjoys giving to this Outer Banks community. Currently serving the Outer Banks Association of Realtors (MLS Committee) and as a Board of Directors member. He served as a member and past President of the First Flight Rotary Club, a two time a Paul Harris Fellow and past Co-Founder and Chairman of the annual Rotary fundraiser, the OINK & OYSTER ROAST. He has served 4 years State appointment on the Roanoke Island Commission as Chairman of the NC Maritime History Museum on Roanoke Island. Winston has also served on the Board of Directors for the Southern Shores Civic Association (SSCA) as liaison for the Architectural Review Board. Coached various youth sports throughout the years with Dare parks (Football) and recreation and Babe Ruth Baseball (9 Years). He is a former Scoutmaster for Kitty Hawk, Boy Scout Troop 117 and has guided many of his young men to the ultimate rank of EAGLE SCOUT. He loves the Outer Banks and anything in the outdoors, from stand up paddle boarding, surfing, fishing, boating and Hunting.
I guess it was A Natural Progression for both Winston and wife Whitney, they are both adventurers and hard working. They have since built a family here with their two boys Max and Levi. Since they arrived both Winston and Whitney's siblings have since relocated to the the area. They understand why you want to live here and they can show you how to make it happen.
