In August 1996 Wyn joined McCartneys to run their Ludlow High Street Estate Agency and is, in part, responsible for the success it is today. Wyn’s current main sphere of expertise lies in the provision of advice, reports and valuations in all property related matters be they in the residential, commercial or agricultural field particularly that of Taxation and Dispute Resolution acting as an Advocate, Arbitrator, Independent Expert and Expert Witness and is well versed in providing expert evidence in Court.
With in excess of 17 years post qualification experience Wyn is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), a Member of the Expert Witness Institute (MEWI) & the Academy of Experts (MAE) registered as a “checked” Expert Witness in the Expert Witness Directory – formerly the Law Society Directory – and is registered by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as an Expert Witness, Independent Expert. Arbitrator and Boundary Dispute Specialist sitting on the RICS President’s Panel as an Independent Expert and Arbitrator and also on the Ministerial appointed Wales Valuation Tribunal.
Now married to Lesley with two young children Penri and Finlay, in his former life Wyn enjoyed a number of jobs including working off shore in the North Sea oil fields and spending some four years abroad working as a ski guide and instructor in the winter months and sailing and windsurfing instructor in the summer months until, that is, he received a telephone call from his mother explaining that he was too old for this life and that he should come home and get a proper job. Needless to say Wyn likes to reminisce.
