Graduated from the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He double majored in Finance and Real Estate. Zane then joined Deutsche Bank's Commercial Real Estate team in New York City. He then moved internally to Deutsche Bank's Commercial Real Estate Special Situations Group.
