Arlington Realty, Inc., was formed in 1984 by a brother and sister team – Ike Seekford and Virginia Seekford Smith, who were born and raised on a farm in Luray, Va., in the Shenandoah Valley. Prior to forming the company, Ike was employed by the city of Washington, D.C., and Virginia was an Arlington County government employee. The firm grew rapidly from a modest start as a brother and sister partnership to more than 20 realtors, many of whom became Top Producers as well. Arlington Realty, Inc., was highly honored in 1991 when Virginia Smith achieved the status of 4th Top Producing Agent amongst 10,000 of her colleagues in Northern Virginia. She was also ranked 7th in Total Production in 1996, and was ranked in the Top 20 in Total Production in 1999 and 2003.
