Fred Assam opened his real estate business as Fred Assam Commercial Real Estate, Inc. in 1974. His hard work and dedication quickly earned his organization the well-known title of an industry leader in commercial and industrial real estate in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After the passing of Fred Assam, his son, Sam, took over the lead of the organization in 1996, changing the name to Assam Commercial Real Estate, Inc. in 1998. Sam has made it his goal to preserve his father’s hard work ethic and to build upon the organization’s name as an industry leader. Sam Assam also brought his knowledge as a lawyer and CPA, with a Master’s Degree in Finance, to the business when he transitioned into the company. Over the past 47 years of business, Assam Companies has proven a reputation for honesty, character, and respectability.
