Founded in 1980 by Mark Thomas, Auction Section emerged as a pioneer in the auction industry. Mark’s inspiration came from a deeply personal experience when he sold a company at auction after his brother’s life-altering car accident. The success of that auction, coupled with the overwhelming participation it garnered, ignited Mark’s vision to create a company dedicated to simplifying and normalizing the auction process for both buyers and sellers.
