The Beatty Companies is a commercial real estate development firm that has been actively engaged in the development of shopping centers, office buildings, industrial and multi-family residential for over forty years. The focus for the past twenty years has been in the development of retail centers ranging in size from 60,000 to 600,000 square feet. Currently they own 14 properties throughout Virginia, Maryland and South Carolina. They have built the majority of these properties, and today still continue managing them to ensure they are fully maintained. The Beatty Companies focus has always been to bring a mix of tenants to their centers to fill the voids in existing markets and create customer shopping, dining and service opportunities to benefit the community. They have been successful in working with local authorities while meeting the requirements of the national tenants to create appealing designs with safe and inviting environments.
