The owner-managed Daetwyler Group operates worldwide. With the three divisions SwissTec (world market leader in the manufacture of MDC precision doctor blades), Rotoflex (paints and coatings for food, non-food and security) and Industries (precision mechanical engineering and special projects made to measure), it operates worldwide with over 10 locations and over 500 employees. MDC Max Daetwyler AG was founded in 1943 in Dietikon-Zurich, Switzerland, by Mr. Max Daetwyler, MDC began servicing the printing industry with a range of diversified auxiliary equipment. After relocating to Bleienbach, Switzerland in 1954, the company also serviced the aviation industry in rebuilding airplanes and manufacturing spare parts for civilian and military aircrafts and the European Intelsat Zenith space program.
