Over 12 years’ experience in Canadian taxation; 5 years inclusive worked full time in the corporate tax group as manager at PwC. Douglas is a Certified General Accountant, and graduated from Keio University in Japan with a Bachelor of Laws degree. Douglas completed the In-depth Tax Course, Part I & II, of Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Douglas’ experience includes providing tax advisory and compliance services mostly to Japanese and Korean multinational companies’ subsidiaries operating in Canada in industries such as manufacturing,distribution, leasing, and energy including renewable energy. Douglas also provided these services to the his clients including Japanese and Korean multinational companies' headquarters carrying on business or investing in Canada, and Canadian Controlled Private Corporations (CCPC).
