Flake & Company’s origins go back to the Great Depression when, in 1932, Charles Leon Flake formed a real estate company whose primary focus was the residential sector. Sons Dickson and John joined their father’s business, transitioned to it to mainly commercial real estate, then proceeded to earn the distinction as one of Arkansas’ most respected and trusted names in real estate. In 1979, John Flake, a true visionary, ventured away from Dickson to form his own commercial real estate company. Through the years that followed, John Flake amassed a portfolio of some of the most impressive and notable buildings/projects in the region. Fast-forward to today and you’ll find one of the most progressive commercial real estate companies in the region. Lead by John Flake’s daughter Jessica Flake Dearnley, who brings a depth of real estate experience along with her extensive analytical background in related fields.
