Founded in November 1999 by principals Andrew M. Greenspan and James J. Houlihan, the firm operates as a division of Houlihan-Parnes Realtors, a family-owned business established in 1891. Over the past three decades, GHP has acquired, financed, redeveloped, leased and managed more than 7 million square feet of commercial space. The current portfolio consists of 19 buildings totaling more than 2 million square feet. The firm operates through a vertically integrated business model that includes sales and leasing brokerage, financing, property management, and construction management services for both portfolio assets and third-party clients. Primary geographic markets include Westchester County in New York, Fairfield County in Connecticut, and Charleston County in South Carolina. The company invests capital to reposition underperforming properties through renovations to common areas, base building systems, and tenant spaces. In recent years, the younger generation of both founding families has become involved in day-to-day operations, including Bryan Houlihan, Rachel Greenspan, and Brendan Hickey serving as Senior Directors.
