GID Investment Advisors is a privately held, vertically-integrated real estate investor, operator, developer, and fiduciary founded in 1960. Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, with corporate offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Dubai, New York City, and San Francisco, the firm has operated a diverse portfolio of multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use developments for over 60 years. The firm operates through four integrated platforms. The multifamily division provides asset management, portfolio management, acquisitions, and property management through its wholly-owned operating company, Windsor Communities, which manages all multifamily properties in the firm's portfolio. The industrial platform acquires, develops, and manages infill industrial product in locations near employment and dense residential nodes. GID Development creates luxury residential developments and mixed-use projects, while GID Credit offers transitional, floating rate bridge loans across all asset classes in the United States.
GID maintains an active acquisition strategy, having completed $759 million in gross asset value of multifamily investments in 2024 alone. Recent acquisitions include properties in Seattle (Windsor Juanita Bay and Windsor Queen Anne), Texas (Windsor West Plano with 35 properties in the state), and California (Windsor Rancho PQ). The industrial portfolio includes properties acquired in Chicago, Boston, and the Baltimore/Washington Corridor. Texas represents a concentration of holdings with 35 multifamily properties. The firm employs approximately 1,300 real estate professionals and is led by President and CEO Gregory S. Bates.
