GSI was formed in July of 2006 out of a love for the area and a belief that it won't remain a secret much longer. Our understanding of the area and friendships within the lake's communities built over 20 years made it possible to acquire some of the best properties in these two counties. This mountain lake community is known for a rich history of the American Indian, folk art, bluegrass music, classic cars, numerous outdoor adventures, and a relaxed lifestyle for all ages.
