Ken Murchison founded MCRE as a real estate investment, management and advisory company in 1991. MCRE was the successor company to Murchison Interests, Inc., which was founded as a family real estate oversight company. MCRE began with outside property advisory and management services with clients such as Austin Industries, the William T. Solomon and Charles Solomon families, S.L.J. Company, the F.D.I.C, and numerous banks. By the mid-1990’s MCRE began originating various real estate investment programs and since then has successfully operated and exited residential, retail and land investments in partnership with long-standing equity and debt relationships.
