In May 2018, affiliates of Blackstone Property Partners and Ivanhoé Cambridge, a subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, completed an all-cash acquisition of the Trust for $8.10 per unit in a transaction valued at $3.8 billion including debt. Blackstone acquired 62% and Ivanhoé Cambridge acquired 38% of the company. Following the acquisition, the company operates as an internally managed platform focusing on income-producing industrial properties in distribution and logistics markets.
