Selig Enterprises is a family-owned real estate company founded in 1918 that operates through two divisions: Portfolio Operations and Development & Investments. The company maintains a portfolio of over 250 properties totaling more than 15 million square feet across the Southeast, with operations concentrated in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The portfolio includes retail, industrial, residential, hotel, office, and mixed-use properties serving approximately 1,200 tenants.
The company pursues ground-up developments, adaptive reuse projects, and strategic acquisitions with a long-term hold strategy. Portfolio Operations provides leasing, property management, and asset management services, while Development & Investments executes new development and repositioning projects. In 2024, fourth-generation family members Mindy Selig and Greg Lewis assumed co-CEO roles, succeeding Steve Selig who transitioned to chairman after 40 years leading the company.
Atlanta represents the core market, with properties in Midtown, Downtown, Buckhead, and the Upper Westside. The company has developed mixed-use projects including The Works, an 80-acre adaptive reuse development, and 1105 West Peachtree, a 653,525-square-foot office tower that serves as Google's Southeast headquarters. In Buckhead, the company operates multiple retail centers including The Block at Phipps, a 421,000-square-foot shopping center anchored by Publix, Target, and Dick's Sporting Goods. The retail portfolio spans approximately 4 million square feet across the Southeast. Google occupies the majority of office space at 1105 West Peachtree under a long-term lease, representing a concentration of office rental income at that asset. The company's joint venture partnerships include the State Board of Administration of Florida and GID for select projects.
