The Stahl Organization was founded in 1949 by the late Stanley Stahl. Today the Stahl Organization owns in excess of five million square feet of commercial space and three thousand residential units. Recent condominium developments of the Stahl Organization include The Apple Bank Condominium, The Brooklyn Trust Company Building, The Laureate and L Haus. In addition to its real estate interests, the Stahl Organization owns Apple Bank for Savings and Cauldwell Wingate Company, the general contractor for The Laureate, The Apple Bank Condominium and 388 Bridge Street. The Stahl Organization is presently managed by its co-presidents, Gregg Wolpert and Richard Czaja, both of whom have worked for the company for more than 20 years.
