In 1957, George D. Zamias, one of the original shopping mall developers in the country, founded George D. Zamias Developer. Since its inception, George D. Zamias Developer has developed over 30 million square feet of retail space, including more than 4.2 million square feet of joint venture developments. In 1996, Zamias Services Inc was formed to service the portfolio of assets held by George D. Zamias Developer and to capitalize on third party leasing and management opportunities.
