Originally built to be a produce sorting and packing facility with a train platform in back for loading, it has since served in several capacities. It has a lot of space for storage, warehousing, mechanic, etc. including office space, conference room, warehouse restroom, and a covered canopy area built to park semi tractor trailer combos under. This is a facility with a lot of history and it shows but it also has a lot of potential for almost any industrial/warehouse use. Situated 1/2 mile from Hwy 17, 1 mile from I-20 business, 1 mile from I-20, and 1 mile from FM 2119, it is centrally located to all major roadways in and around Pecos. Concrete floors throughout along with steel construction make for a durable combination. The hard-packed-rolled caliche yard is surrounded by a six-foot chain-link fence and topped with a three-strand barbed wire for extra security. You cannot find a similar amount of space for near the cost within Pecos; especially within the industrial area.
