The Days Inn Altus has been a corporately owned, absentee run hotel with a long term history of success in the market and in real need of a hands on, motivated owner with construction requirements to re-open. At the time of closing, the hotel operation was in good condition with many amenities unique to the market including both indoor and outdoor pool, meeting facilities, bar, fitness room and business center.
Altus is the home to Altus AFB, Western Oklahoma State College, many medical facilities, the Jackson County Courthouse and Seat, multiple state parks and lakes (including the Quartz Mountain State Lodge and Amphitheater) as well as other significant demand generators. Located at the intersection of US highways 62 and 283, Altus is just minutes from the Texas border but still within easy driving distance of Interstates 44, 35 and 40.
The hotel building has significant structural issues that will need to be addressed immediately for long term viability to approximately 30 rooms. One wing of the hotel has had "settling". PLEASE CONTACT BROKER FOR FULL EXPLANATION.
