An 80 kw solar electricity system is installed on the roof of Grocery Outlet. The system generates approximately 100 kw per annually. A written agreement is in place with the store operator that requires 50% of the solar generation to be reimbursed to the Landlord. As expected, the LADWP electric rates will continue to rise and therefore, the estimated solar revenue will increase accordingly.
Tesla, Inc. has a lease for the location and operation of a Tesla Supercharging Station located on the Grocery Outlet parcel. The station is comprised of three banks of parking stalls of approximately 48 spaces. Tesla will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the units.
