Bio
David Heinzerling serves as Regional Manager, Commercial Leasing & Sales at Mason Asset Management Inc., where he focuses on commercial retail leasing, investment sales, acquisitions, and business development initiatives across the firm's national portfolio. He joined Mason Asset Management in January 2025 and is responsible for leasing and transaction activity involving shopping centers, retail properties, and commercial real estate investments.
Prior to joining Mason Asset Management, Heinzerling worked in acquisitions for Symphony Towers Infrastructure, an affiliate of Palistar Capital focused on acquiring, managing, and leasing wireless infrastructure assets throughout the United States. Before that, he served as a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker with Compass and spent more than six years with Schuckman Realty Inc. as a Leasing & Acquisitions Associate focused on shopping centers, net lease properties, urban retail assets, and development sites. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Associate with CPEX Real Estate and served as a Lieutenant (O-3) in the United States Navy Reserve from 2013 through 2021. In addition to his real estate activities, he is an investor in single-family residential properties and infill development opportunities in select Florida markets.
