With over 20 years of experience, his capabilities deliver cost saving solutions on a broad range of national and international corporate location and expansion initiatives including: State and Local Business Incentives; Corporate Site Selection Strategies; Economic, Demographic and Market Information; Utility and Transportation Solutions and Macro Economic Development Strategies.
John’s consulting experience includes various domestic community and State engagements as well as international real estate and industrial site marketing projects in Eastern Canada, the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico. As a former Senior Manager of a global “Big 4” accounting firm, he has had the opportunity to provide a wide range of economic development consulting services including: Strategic Asset Marketing Services, Targeted Industry Prospecting, Military Base Re-use and Platform Development, and various other Location Optimization engagements.
John's recent and current Business Incentives client engagements include expansion and relocation projects consisting of Corporate Headquarters, Renewable Energy Component Manufacturing, Oil & Gas Equipment Manufacturing, Aircraft Manufacturing, Telecommunications Assembly, Back Office Operations, and Data Center Development. Cost savings delivered to the various projects utilizing applicable State & Local business incentive programs have ranged from $500,000 up to several million dollars.
Recent Location Advisory client engagements include Opportunity Analyses for communities in Arkansas and Louisiana where the consulting team provided complete Real Estate, Sports and Recreational Usability as well as Highest & Best Use and Market Feasibility.
John stays informed on domestic and international economic development trends through his long-standing involvement in the International Economic Development Council. He is an active member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association, the University of Arkansas Regional Parents Club and is also an avid sailor.
