ShopRite Supermarket anchored retail center is the dominant community shopping center in Washington Township. Phase I is comprised of a 70,000 SF ShopRite (opened Feb. 2010), a 14,454 SF freestanding multi-tenant village retail center plus a two-acre commercial pad approved for 25,000 SF. Phase II will consist of two separate freestanding retail buildings (17,200 SF & 16,100 SF, both on two-acre pad sites) a 7,000 SF liquor based restaurant and a proposed 35,000 SF Health & Wellness Center. Phase III will be a four-acre expansion located directly across from the Village Shoppes at Hawk Pointe at the new signalized intersection of State Highway Route 31 and South Lincoln Drive. Construction is steel and block with an exterior of cedar shake and green metal trim and a uniform facade throughout the entire upscale development. The Village appearance will create a pedestrian friendly atmosphere with walkways for easy access to the various stores which will remain consistent with the adjacent private membership Hawk Pointe Country Club and the luxury housing.
