As part of the 20-year Regional Transportation Plan approved by voters in 2004, the Arizona Department of Transportation has plans to widen I-17 from Loop 101 to Anthem Way, which will ultimately serve to provide better access to the local bedroom community. Further enhancing access to the area, Valley Metro has recently constructed a light rail system that is slated to run through downtown Phoenix. Approximately 47,000 cars pass the center everyday.
