At current, Mrs. Joutraw has two roles at Champion Property Management.
In her role as Controller, Mrs. Joutraw manages the following:
- Manage commercial portfolio valued at approximately $200 million, which includes properties located in Texas and Florida
- Coordinate and organize acquisitions and sales of commercial and residential properties in Texas and Florida
- Create relationships with lenders and work with financial institutions to obtain commercial loans
- Oversee and manage all financial accounting functions for multiple entities that own commercial properties. These duties include, but are not limited to, financial statement preparation, cash management, and loan management.
- Manage and control operating expenses
- Analyze commercial leasing market to properly derive top market rates on all leases and sales
In Mrs. Joutraw's role as Property Manager, she manages the following:
- Through Mrs. Joutraw’s leadership of the leasing department, occupancy rate has increased from approximately 10 percent to 95 percent
- Oversee lease administration
- Ensure proper and preventative maintenance on all properties
