The rehabilitation was awarded the DRA Imprint Award for contributing to the identity of downtown Raleigh. Today, the building is home to almost every imaginable type of use—retail, office, restaurant, service, events. Indeed, Empire itself operates two successful event rental venues—The Stockroom, and The Glass Box—in the building.
